It's been very hectic round here and I'm not very good at hectic.
So while a poorly little one napped on the sofa (the joy of large families means illness works its slow way around everyone for what feels like ever) I hot footed it to the garden.
There is so much to do, here, inside, at the allotment and I am so woefully behind.
But I squashed my feelings of overwhelm and just got out there. It was time, time for baby steps.
This is a huge problem for me too, I find that I am so overwhelmed by the enormity of everything that needs to be done, and I then struggle to even begin. I'm learning though. Hope the family are all on the mend :-)

I love this plant and have lots in various parts of my shady back yard. I deal with the disappearing foliage by deploying annuals, containers, and ferns. This is a great one for seeding itself randomly around your yard.

Hope all is well. Keep meaning to write a quick note to say I'm really enjoying radio 4 extra, thanks to you!

Just having a similar discussion with another blogger! How true you cannot escape the illness in a large family and usually the last person to contract it tends to be the worst one! x
